  • Devil May Cry 5 the best Devil Breaker guide

    Time: Aug. 20, 2020

In Devil May Cry 5, the best Devil Breakers are a great shortcut to some amazing fighting moves in DMC 5, probably the bulk of Capcom's most recent entry on Demon Hunting.

The best Devil Bringers offer a number of additional abilities that liven up combat by doing things like slowing down time or using shockwaves to match enemy movement. There are mainly eight different switches that will be unlocked as the game progresses, including a few additional ones if you opt for the deluxe edition of the game.

How to use the best Devil Breakers in Devil May Cry 5

Regardless of which Devil Breaker you equip, you can always have a grappling ability available to draw enemies to you or them, a valuable tool in combat to reduce distance and maintain your style.

The best Devil Breakers in Devil May Cry 5

So with the basics, let's take a look at the best Devil May Cry 5 Devil Breakers. Note that you will not have access to all of these options from the beginning. However, as you unlock the best options, take some time to learn about them as it can make a huge difference in your demon slaying adventures.

    1. Ragtime

Ragtime is probably Devil May Cry 5's favorite Devil Breaker. It pauses time so you can reposition yourself for bigger combinations, to create a plan of attack, or to escape a tricky situation. Ragtime is a multipurpose bug, it is useful in most scenarios. You can combine it with aggressive or defensive playstyles and get a lot done either way.

    2. Hit line

Punch Line is an absolutely savage breaker when I say this, it's a jet propulsion that delivers a massive punch that can blow enemies, even giant bosses, into pain. The Breaker features a jet device, the ability to shoot the Breaker and detonate it remotely, and Boost Knuckle, an explosive blow that is activated by holding down the Breaker button. Please use it with caution.

    3. Gerbera

Another devil-breaker early in the game, the gerbera is perfect for defensive play and one of the most useful breakers in the entire game. Jocky, the standard breaker move, can negate and reflect enemy attacks when used alone. Holding the analog stick while using the gerbera will allow you to use the shock waves from the switch to dodge attacks and move quickly.

    4. Overture

The overture is one of the obstacles you start with. It is a basic model that blends well with regular melee combat. Create shockwaves that hurt most enemies and kill the most assholes, good if you catch enemies in front of and behind you.
